Dr. Herbie Yung, M.D.
Dr. Herbie Yung received his undergraduate degree in biology from Illinois Wesleyan University and his medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine. He subsequently completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Dr. Wayne Higashi D.C., A.T.C.
Dr. Wayne Higashi has been a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic since December 2000 and Certified Athletic Trainer since 1996.
He graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2000 and from the University of California Santa Barbara in 1996.
A member of the California Chiropractic Association, National Athletic Trainers Association, and the Southern California University of Health Sciences Alumni Association, he also has P.A.D.I. Rescue Diver Certification and American Red Cross CPR First Aid Certification.
Dr. Robert Tracy, DO
Dr. Robert Tracy is a Board-Certified Family Physician with specialty management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal issues using techniques such as Platelet-Rich-Plasma (PRP), Prolotherapy and other image-guided interventional pain management.
Dr. Tracy graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his rotating internship at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in San Bernardino, CA. He then entered the USC Family Medicine residency program at California Hospital in downtown Los Angeles. Dr. Tracy was elected by the residents and faculty to serve as Chief Resident of the program during his senior year. He was also awarded the Richard G. Han award by the faculty upon graduation for his commitment and knowledge of practicing full scope procedural family medicine.
Prior to entering medical school Dr. Tracy spent two years working on a research based masters degree in Anatomy and Neuroanatomy at St. Louis University. There he acquired detailed knowledge of human anatomy through hundreds of cadaver dissections. During residency Dr. Tracy became interested in learning more about non surgical procedures for orthopedic medical problems after he saw many patients with joint and muscle pain but few good treatment options. He spent extra time to learn injection procedures and attended conferences throughout his senior year to acquire more knowledge about these techniques.
Dr. Kassandra Walkowiak, D.C.
Dr. Kassandra Walkowiak, DC is a licensed Chiropractor who graduated from Life West. She is passionate about helping patients and has a great technique to help patients from infants to elderly. She has worked with athletes, executives and mom’s with their kids to optimize their health and life to help patients get well and stay well and live optimally.
Dr. Mandy Messinger, DTP
Dr. Mandy Messinger is an physical therapist specializing in orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation. She graduated from New York University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and holds a BA in Communications from the University of Maryland, College Park. Dr. Messinger also holds certifications in both Pilates and Ashtanga-based Vinyasa yoga, and is an avid practitioner of both disciplines.
Tara Zamani, MS, CNS
Tara Zamani is a Clinical Nutritionist and holds a Masters degree in Alternative Clinical Nutrition from The University of Bridgeport in CT and she is a Certified Nutrition Specialist and a member of the CBNS board for Nutrition. She is also a Holistic Health Coach and a graduate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York. Tara utilizes Quantum Reflex Analysis testing (QRA) also known as muscle testing to find out her patient’s food sensitivities in a non invasive and pain free way at the office in addition to blood test samples. Tara strongly believes in helping the body with detoxification and resetting the body’s metabolism.
As a Holistic Clinical Nutritionist, her approach to wellness is to look at the body as whole and all areas of her patient’s lives, including diet, blood analysis, digestion, exercise, stress, hormones, sleep and nutrient deficiencies. Tara believes in healing the body as a whole and getting to the root cause of health concerns; by analyzing blood-stool-hormone-nutrient samples for each patient and providing an individualized plan for each patient based on their unique biology, history and needs.
She guides her patients by making step-by-step changes in a relaxed and enjoyable way to help them reach their current and future health goals sustainably and permanently. Through working with her patients, she discovers the best diet, food & lifestyle choices for them and she supports her patients to integrate those changes into their current lifestyle in a manner that is fun, flexible and free of self-denial. Tara sees herself as her patient’s personal advocate and her passion is to inspire her patients to create happy & healthy lives while reducing their stress, increasing their energy through a better self care regimen and were eating organic real whole foods and utilizing natural remedies for health concerns is a regular and joyful part of life.
