Dr. Kamau Kokayi, M.D.
Dr. Kamau Kokayi is a Yale trained physician with over thirty years of practice in the field of Alternative and Holistic medicine.
Dr. Kokayi distinguished himself as a scholar at Cornell University and passed on a full scholarship to law school and entrance to Harvard medical school. Instead he pursued a unique course of study at Yale medical school in 1978 where he focused on what was then called Holistic medicine.
With the completion of his family practice residency with Board Certification, along with parallel training in the fields of homeopathy and Chinese medicine, and later applied kinesiology, Dr. Kokayi entered the field of primary care medicine in 1985. He has cultivated his craft and augmented his diagnostic and therapeutic skill set with countless workshops, trainings, and trips to various parts of the world, seeking out medical wisdom from other cultures and civilizations.
Dr. Franz Gliederer, M.D.
Dr. Gliederer has postgraduate degrees from the US and Europe, a Masters Program for Public Health at UCLA and an MD from the University of Vienna, Austria. He received Board Certification by the American Board of Preventive Medicine in 1998, Dr. Gliederer had formal residency training in Occupational & Preventive Medicine at USC/UCLA, Internal Medicine training at St. Joseph Hospital Chicago and Family Medicine training at Rudolfstifung Hospital Vienna in his native country Austria.
Dr. Gliederer’s services include evaluations and treatment of musculoskeletal pain syndromes with various injections such as prolotherapy and bioidentical hormone replacement to optimize hormone balance or treat hormone deficiency conditions. Dr. Gliederer increasingly endorses treatments with a variety of medical and herbal supplements (Nutraceuticals) to maximize arterial, brain, exercise and sexual health. Numerous medical conditions can be prevented in their early stages or having their onset delayed.
Dr. Richard Ochs, D.O.
Dr. Richard Ochs has been a licensed Doctor of Osteopathy since August 1973. He has extensive experience in drugless healing for orthopedic problems and pain management.
Dr. Adam Silver, D.O.
Dr. Silver has experience and training in both conventional and alternative approaches to pain management and musculoskeletal dysfunction and disease.
As an Osteopathically trained Physician, Dr. Silver has a keen understanding of physical anatomy and the biomechanics of the body. He’s an expert at using various manual medicine techniques including cranial osteopathy which supports his holistic approach to physical rehabilitation.
Dr. Stephanie Higashi, D.C.
Dr. Stephanie Higashi, D.C. is the CEO and Founder of Health Atlast. She has been practicing for over a decade and works passionately to help patients achieve their health goals. She collaborates with other practitioners in the office to provide the best customized treatment plan for patients for long term stable results without the use of drugs and surgery whenever possible.
Dr. Wayne Higashi D.C., A.T.C.
Dr. Wayne Higashi has been a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic since December 2000 and Certified Athletic Trainer since 1996.
He graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2000 and from the University of California Santa Barbara in 1996.
A member of the California Chiropractic Association, National Athletic Trainers Association, and the Southern California University of Health Sciences Alumni Association, he also has P.A.D.I. Rescue Diver Certification and American Red Cross CPR First Aid Certification.
Dr. Brian Huth, D.C.
Dr. Huth has been a Doctor of Chiropractic for 32 years, providing care in the Los Angeles area throughout his years of practice. He finds patient treatment and the education of future Chiropractors to be exciting and rewarding. He believes in educating and empowering a patient towards health care.
Dr. Kris Szen, D.C.
Dr Kris Szentivanyi or “Dr Szen” is a 1999 graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic. Since then he has persued extensive training in nutrition and Applied Kinesiology. He has a passion for uncovering the root cause of a patient’s problem.
Melissa Tsai, L.Ac.
Melissa’s main focus is women’s health, fertility, and pain management but she treats patients for a wide range of neurological and muscular skeletal disorders and emotional disorders such as back pain, sciatica, localized traumas, arthritis, sports injuries, headache, migraine, anxiety, and stress.
Melissa found her love for Chinese Medicine through her own journey for better health and a strong desire to help others. She received her Masters in Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica.
Andre Studer, CMT
A graduate of Southern California Health Institute, Andre is a trigger point and posture specialist who uses a blend of medical massage/sports therapy with traditional Chinese medicine. With every massage he delivers a unique blend of therapy to treat each of his clients’ soft tissue needs.
His Swedish and deep tissue combination of strokes organize tissues to their peak stability and performance. His range of techniques include; Deep tissue, Reflexology, Swedish, sports therapy, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, acupressure and Rolfing… Which are all concluded with a blend of energy work and even Reiki. This will leave you with a raw feeling of satisfaction, especially when you wake the following morning.
Suzette LaRue, MT
A massage therapist for nearly 17 years, Suzette has practiced in a clinical setting along side chiropractors and acupuncturists for most of her career. She will tailor a massage for clients whether they need a therapeutic trigger point or deep tissue massage, a pregnancy massage or a relaxing full body massage.
A gymnast for 10 years, Suzette’s career was sidelined by debilitating injuries she suffered pursuing the sport. Chiropractic treatment and massage led to a full recovery and accounts for her passion for helping her patients with therapeutic massage.
Greta Recinto, RYT, Therapeutic Yoga
Greta takes a holistic approach to helping heal and strengthen patients through yoga and exercise modalities. Her focus is injury prevention and rehabilitation – helping patients with back, neck and knee pain as well as other chronic pains and trauma.
She is an athlete who pursued yoga after suffering multiple knee surgeries. She has extensive training as a teacher in Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin yoga with a focus on yoga for Athletes.
Samantha Blaustein, RYT, Therapeutic Yoga
A certified yoga instructor Samantha is passionate about healing through yoga. She combines her knowledge as a personal trainer with therapeutic yoga techniques to tailor a program for a patient’s individual needs in a clinical setting to help treat common ailments and conditions.
Samantha is an avid yogi who has been personally transformed by a dedicated practice of yoga and meditation. She strongly believes that consistent yoga practice and devotion to its’ ancient teachings, can heal any individual. She is continuing her study of Therapeutic Yoga through Loyota Marymount University’s Yoga Therapy Rx program.
